Apaar ID – Register, Login & Download

APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) is launched by Ministry of Education Government of India under the One Nation, One Student ID aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. This unique 12-digit ID creates a digital identity for school student across India, securely academic records, marksheets and academic achievements like certificates.

APAAR stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. It is a unique identification number for student in India act as vault for academic documents like marksheets, certificates and academic credits linked to Academic Bank of Credits (ABC).

With APAAR ID:

Student register the ID online on Digilocker or abc.gov.in portal and get through their institutes.

• Go to your School and verify your personal details.
• If student is minor parents must submit a Parental Consent.
• School will verify the identity of the student.
• ID will be created and add to your student DigiLocker account once the Identity is verified.

Through DigiLocker or ABC Portal, register APAAR ID online. Create your DigiLocker account through this ABC portal. If you don’t have DigiLocker account, create it first and then proceed.

1. Visit ABC portal through abc.gov.in.
2. Click on “My Account” and then “Student” Login page will appear.

3. Login to your account and accept term and condition, Verify OTP and click on submit.

4. Share the important information with the Academic bank of credits. Select the purpose “Educational” and click on “Allow”.

5. Enter these details select Identity type and “I am student” select year of admission and click on “Submit”.

6. Click on “Submit” you need to provide KYC verification, Select Aadhaar card and click on proceed.

7. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on “verify”.

8. Follow these steps and create your ID.

9. You can see all the important details in ABC portal where your profile is created.
10. Download it through DigiLocker.

• Go to DigiLocker Portal (https://www.DigiLocker.gov.in/) Login to your DigiLocker account verify your “OTP”.

• In Search bar search “APAAR” click on “Academic bank of credits” then “APAAR”.

• Enter the required details (Identity type, Identity value, Admission year).

• Fill all the details and click on “Get Document”.
• You can download your ID in PDF format.

In APAAR ID creation for students under 18 a parental consent form. Get the form:

• Your school authorities
• School’s website
• Official APAAR portal (apaar.education.gov.in)

Details Required:

• Student’s name, class, and section
• Parent’s name and relationship
• Mobile number
• Parent’s signature

1. Get the Form: Get and download the form.
2. Enter Details: Write:
   • Full name
   • Date of birth
   • Gender
   • Mobile number
   • Class/grade
3. Add Parent Details: Add your parents name.
4. Aadhaar Details: Enter your name on your Aadhaar card.
5. Sign Consent: Parents must sign if you’re under 18.
6. Check Details: Check everything is correct and complete.
7. Submit: Submit the form with required documents.

Through DigiLocker you can download APAAR ID:

• Sign up DigiLocker Account: Sign up to your digilocker.gov.in using your Aadhaar number and mobile number .
• Log In: Log in to your account use your mobile number, username or Aadhaar number and password.
• Access Issued Documents: Click on “Issued Documents” and find your APAAR ID Card.
• Download APAAR ID: Save the digital copy or print for future use.

• DigiLocker: Go to “Issued Documents” at digilocker.gov.in.
• School Authorities: Confirm with your School.
• UDISE+ Portal: On udiseplus.gov.in school can verify your UDISE+ Student ID status.

1. Go to digilocker.gov.in or use the DigiLocker app.
2. Click “Sign In” or “Login.”
3. Enter:
   • Mobile number and password, or
   • Username and password, or
   • Aadhaar number (OTP verification required).
4. Click on “Issued Documents” and check APAAR ID.
